To kick off summer break, the Tri-State Fair & Rodeo invites local youth to help bring new life to our iconic horse statue!
Students in grades K–12 are encouraged to download the official horse template or pick up a copy from our office and get creative with their statue art. Use colors, patterns, western themes, carnival inspiration, rodeo flair, fair food fun, and anything that represents the spirit of the Tri-State Fair & Rodeo, and would make a great photo-op for our guests!

🏆 One Grand Prize Winner will receive a MEGA PASS to the 2026 Tri-State Fair & Rodeo and a $100 VISA gift card!
Contest Rules:
• Open to students currently enrolled in grades K–12
• Participants must reside within the top 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle
• One entry per participant
• Artwork must be original, family-friendly, and created by the participant
• Entries must be submitted using the official horse template. We are looking for a one-sided design per participant
• Digital and hand-colored entries are accepted
• Accepted file formats include JPG, PNG, or PDF
• All entries must be received by June 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM
• Parent/guardian contact information is required
• Incomplete entries may not be considered
• Winner will be selected by the Tri-State Fair & Rodeo and contacted in July 2026
• All submitted designs may partially or fully inspire the final painted horse statue
• By entering, participants agree that submitted artwork, names, and photos may be used for promotional purposes by the Tri-State Fair & Rodeo
• No purchase necessary to enter or win
• Prize is non-transferable
