A new name, a new partnership...

The Tri-State Fair & Rodeo is proud to announce the Texas Ford Dealers will remain the event’s title sponsor for the second year. The 2007 festival will be named the Texas Ford Dealers’ Tri-State Fair & Rodeo.

“We believe this new relationship with the Texas Ford Dealers greatly enhances our event. Our organization is excited to have them on board, and we hope this will continue to be a long-term partnership,” said General Manager Virgil Bartlett.

The Tri-State Fair & Rodeo is the area’s largest annual event, drawing more than 140,000 people each year. It is also one of the longest running events in the area. This September will be the Tri-State Fair’s 84th year of serving the community and the youth of the Panhandle.

“The Tri-State Fair & Rodeo is a part of the Amarillo culture. We realize how important the Tri-State Fair is to the Amarillo area, and we want to do what we can to keep the event strong and vibrant,” according to Dennis Flaherty, the advertising manager for the Texas Ford Dealers.

John Chandler is the advertising representative for the area Ford dealerships. He says they are pleased to join a grassroots event that has so much community involvement.

“The Texas Ford Dealers want to be associated with an organization with a fine reputation like the Tri-State Fair & Rodeo. This is a positive affiliation for our dealerships and for our customers,” said Chandler.

Corporate sponsorships help underwrite the PRCA Rodeo, fair contests, concerts and other entertainment. The Texas Ford Dealers along with 70 other corporate sponsors will help to offer the area’s most unique and diverse, educational and entertaining event available for the people of the Panhandle.

The Texas Ford Dealer’s Tri-State Fair & Rodeo is set for September 14-22.
