Toot’n Totum will make a check presentation, in the amount of $5,781.00 to the Potter and Randall County 4-H Clubs. The presentation of the check will be made on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 2:30 PM at the Toot’n Totum offices at 1201 S. Taylor.
The donation represents proceeds from sales of Tri-State Exposition Mega Passes sold in all 61 Toot’n Totum locations during the fair in September. In exchange for selling the passes, Toot’n Totum receives a percentage of sales and is donating the full percentage to the 4-H Clubs.
Jeff Mitchell, Director of Facilities Services for Toot’n Totum, will make the presentation to officials of the clubs. “The 4-H Clubs are integral to the success of the Tri-State Exposition and, as such, are the perfect recipients for this donation. By assisting the clubs financially, this donation benefits the future of agri-business in the Panhandle, which will be of benefit to all of us who call this home.”
“Toot’n Totum, and its 750 Team Members, are dedicated to supporting local organizations, particularly those in our schools,” says Mitchell. “A donation of this size speaks highly of the determination of our Team Members to pay it forward in the community.”
Attendees will include:
Jeff Mitchell, Director of Facilities Services, Toot’n Totum
Colette Rogerson, Store Manager, Toot’n Totum
Esmeralda Chairez, Store Manager, Mr. Payroll
Virgil Bartlett, General Manager, Tri-State Exposition
Brenda Gladney, Potter County Extension Agent, 4-H and Youth
