Tommy Grant Arena
As tradition goes at the Amarillo Tri-State Exposition many buildings are named after those that have shown outstanding service to the Amarillo facility. This year shall be no different as Tommy Grant owner of Grant Construction continues the tradition.
“The covered arena north of the Amarillo National Center shall now be referred to as the “Tommy Grant Arena,” according to Virgil Bartlett, General Manager Amarillo Tri-State Exposition. “Tommy and his team at Grant Construction have put in countless hours at the fairgrounds to assist us in keeping the grounds in tip top shape. The board felt this would be an excellent way to honor a man that has done so much for Amarillo.”
The Tommy Grant Arena joins the Amarillo National Center, Vance Reed Livestock Center, Jerry Kimble Buildings, Glenn McMennamy Livestock Building, Cody Horse Barn and the Rex Baxter Building.
